The Story
Thinking about making the leap into product management? You’re excited but also wondering, “Where do I even start?.” Then, this is for you.
My own journey kicked off in Antwerp, not long after I finished my engineering degree in Milan. I landed my first job at a big Japanese company in Belgium. It was a place full of structured processes, teamwork, and solid collaboration between business, design, and development. But something was off. Despite all the effort, there was some misalignment and chaos, we couldn’t quite create products that truly clicked with people.

It wasn’t until I joined a small startup that things started to make sense. In that tight-knit team, I realized what we’d been missing all along: a deep understanding of what customers really want. That’s when it hit me—successful product management isn’t just about knowing the tech or the business side. It’s about bringing them together to create something that genuinely matters.
But I’ll be honest—figuring out how to blend business strategy, user experience, and technology isn’t easy. It’s like putting together a puzzle where every piece counts. Over the years, working in both startups and bigger companies, I learned how to crack that code.
What’s kept me going through all of this is curiosity. It’s been my constant guide. I’ve learned way more from hands-on experiences and working with amazing people than from any textbook. The trick? Stay curious, keep asking questions, and never stop learning.
That’s why I created The Odyssey Product. It’s more than just a guide—it’s a way to help you navigate the world of product management, using the lessons I’ve picked up along the way.
Let’s take that curiosity of yours and turn it into something powerful, something that can make you a great product leader.
